General Ledger Accountant - International Company in Brussels


Our partner is an international player niche in its market, operating across several continents, and is looking for a Senior GL Accountant for its headquarters in Brussels.

📌 Your main missions and responsibilities:


• Handle the full accounting process (A–Z) for the headquarters and its international subsidiaries (around 10 entities).

• Supervise monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, as well as group consolidation.

• Ensure compliance with accounting procedures (BE GAAP) and participate in reviewing internal policies.

• Manage annual audits with external firms and handle local taxation.

• Monitor intercompany transactions and optimize financial processes.

• Control budgets and general expenses, providing financial analyses to management teams.

• Collaborate with local teams and international management to ensure alignment and consistency in reporting.


🎯 Ideal profile:


• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (Master’s degree is a plus).

• Experience: At least 5 years as an Accountant specialized in BE GAAP

• Languages & soft skills: Fluent in French and English (or Dutch and English); confidentiality, strong communication skills, analytical mindset, adaptability, autonomy, and team spirit.
